Iowa teen killed in motorcycle crash

ELMO, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a motorcyclist from Iowa is dead after a collision in Nodaway County.

The Patrol says 18-year-old Seger Mace of Coin was driving a Honda motorcycle on Railroad Street, near Route C in Elmo.

At 6:20 p.m. Monday, the Patrol says the motorcycle failed to yield to a 2002 Chevy 1500 entering the intersection. The motorcycle skid, overturned, struck the Chevy's towed unit and ejected Mace.

Mace was pronounced dead nearly an hour and a half later at Clarinda Regional Medical Center. The Chevy driver suffered no injuries.
