Lathrop man seriously injured in crash

OSBORN, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 21-year-old Lathrop man is in serious condition after a single vehicle wreck.

The Patrol says Havin Marrant was driving a 1995 Ford on Highway 33, about four miles outside of Osborn. Around 8:46 a.m. Monday, the Ford went off of the road, struck a culvert and fence before coming to a rest.

The violent crash ejected Marrant, who wasn't wearning a seatbelt. Marrant was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries.
