ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a man is in serious condition after a two vehicle wreck in Buchanan County.

The Patrol says 57-year-old Judith Williams of Atchison, Kan. was driving a 2018 Chevy Equinox on U.S. Highway 59.

About seven miles south of St. Joseph, at 8:40 p.m. Saturday , the Chevy collided into a broken down 2002 Dodge 1500 in the middle of the road.

The collision caused the Chevy to hit 46-year-old Clinton Pine and a 13-year-old from Platte City. Pine had been driving the Chevy.

Pine was taken to Mosaic Life Care with serious injuries. The teen suffered minor injuries while Williams suffered moderate injuries.
