HOLT, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a teenager in serious condition after a single vehicle wreck in southern Clinton County.
The Patrol says the 16-year-old from Lawson was driving a 2012 Ford Explorer on Route PP, about three miles east of Holt.
Authorities say around 10:25 a.m. Thursday, a default in the Ford caused it to accelerate around a curve, forcing the Ford off the road before it struck an embankment.
The teen, who was wearing their seatbelt, was taken to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries.
