Murder-suicide investigation in Andrew County

SAVANNAH, Mo. - The Andrew County Sheriff's Office says a man and women are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in Savannah.

The Sheriff's Office says deputies say were called about a reported domestic disturbance allegedly happening at a residence in the 12000 block of Country Road 231, shortly after 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Upon arrival, deputies located a woman in her 30s and a man in his 40s dead at the scene. Investigators say they believe it was a murder-suicide.

The Sheriff's Office is being assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Andrew County Coroner's Office in the investigation. No other details have been released.
