NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. - Women pioneers and homesteaders played an important part in the development and heritage of Nebraska.
That's why Humanities Nebraska and Morton-James Public Library in Nebraska City are having speakers Lucy Adkins and Marge Saiser present the program Diaries and Letters of Early Nebraska Settlers at the library on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m.
Assistant Director of Morton-James Public Library said audiences are usually very into the history of Nebraska which played a role in picking this program.
