MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Maryville High School Spectrum Show Choir is painting the town green and yellow with Spoofhound Paw Prints as part of a spirited fundraiser.

This event aims to support the choir's upcoming trip to Florida in spring 2024. Past groups like the Marching Spoofhound Band have also used this creative approach for fundraising.

The MHS Director of Vocal Music Vanessa Parsons highlighted the importance of not only raising funds but also spreading school spirit throughout the town.

All proceeds from the Paw Painting event will contribute to Spectrum's trip to Walt Disney World in May 2024, where they've been invited to perform.

The trip serves as a significant educational opportunity, motivating the students to excel in their performances and represent Maryville and MHS proudly.

Those interested in purchasing a paw print can visit the Singing Spoofhounds Facebook page. Spectrum members will be out this Saturday painting new prints and refreshing existing ones.
