ATV wreck seriously injures three

AVALON, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says an ATV wreck seriously injured three people over the weekend.

The Patrol says 39-year-old James Adams of Hale was drving the ATV, with 35-year-old Lindsay Adams of Hale and 34-year-old Dena Wright of Carrolton as passengers.

On LIV 3O6, about two and a half miles north of Avalon, at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, the ATV left the road as it approached a bridge, became airborne and struck an embankment on the other side of the creek bed.

Wright and James Adams were taken to Research Medical Center in Kansas City with serious injuries. by Life Flight Eagle. Lindsay James was taken to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries.
