City of Maryville to use AI to study tourism trends

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The city of Maryville will soon be utilizing the power of artificial intelligence. The Maryville City Council apProved a $15,000 contract with Placer Labs for PlacerAI Location Analytics.

City Manager Greg McDanel says the company will use cell phone data to help track and study information on visitor and traveler trends in the city.
