JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Agriculture has announced the availability of grant funds through the Building our American Communities program.
Aimed at supporting rural community development, the program provides $12,000 annually to Missouri 4H clubs and FFA chapters.
Twelve $500 grants are awarded in each category across the six districts. Projects, focusing on agricultural community benefits and development, can include enhancements to existing facilities.
Applications are accepted until December 1 of this year and successful applicants will be notified next January. Completed projects are expected by August 1 of next year. For more details and applications, visit agriculture.mo.gov.
