CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - A 61-year-old offender at the Chillicothe Correctional Center is dead. Margaret Hodges was pronounced dead this past Saturday at 11:56 p.m.
Margaret Hodges was serving a life sentence for three counts of second-degree murder and armed criminal action in Johnson and Platte County.
According to Missouri Department of Corrections records, Hodges had been incarcerated since June 29, 1998.
An autopsy is set to be conducted, and the circumstances surrounding her death remain under investigation by the MDOC.
