MO ABLE Program sees massive growth

MO ABLE

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Missouri State Treasurer Vivek Malek has announced significant growth in a program designed for eligible Missourians with disabilities.

MO ABLE allows individuals to invest and grow their money without jeopardizing income eligibility for other public benefits.

Inspired by U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt's story of his son Stephen and the creation of MO ABLE, Treasurer Malek aimed to expand the program.

In 2023, new accounts increased by 13.7%, and the investment portfolio's total assets rose by nearly 25%, a $6.3 million increase.

Treasurer Malek expressed pride in continuing the legacy and helping Missourians with disabilities enhance their financial well-being. For more information, visit MO-ABLE-DOT-com or call 1-800-439-1653.
