MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce has unveiled the finalists for its Grinch Contest, recognizing individuals making a significant impact through local non-profit organizations.
The nominees include Rebecca Wyant of Ark of Freedom, dedicated to addiction recovery; Lynette Harbin from Big Brothers Big Sisters; Brenda Wheeler, a force for empowering those with disabilities at Lettuce Dream; Ben Lipiec, a stalwart supporter of Nodaway County Senior Center; and Teri Harr, a nurse and cancer care advocate with St. Francis Foundation.
Community members can vote for their choice by donating at Walmart, with each dollar equating to a vote. Voting begins next Tuesday and lasts through noon on Friday, November 17.
The winner will have their represented non-profit receive the collected funds. For more details, contact the Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce at 660-582-8643.
