MARYVILLE, Mo. - A Maryville company celebrated a unique partnership with a group of Maryville R-2 high school students.
Since last year, Nucor has been working with the 108 Classroom, consisting of 15 high school students receiving special education.
Nucor helped purchase an old trailer for 108's Spoofy Beans, which gives students work experience in a mobile coffee shop.
Superintendent Logan Lightfoot says last Wednesday, Nucor surprised students with the restored and wrapped trailer.
Candace and Alexis Beoh lead the 108 classroom and became special services teachers nine years ago in the district.
