ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - In a significant collaboration, the 139th Airlift Wing and Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph inked a training agreement.
This strategic alliance allows medical Airmen to fulfill their clinical requirements at Mosaic's teaching hospital.
At Tuesday's signing, officials on both sides highlighted the resourcefulness of leveraging Mosaic's expertise for enhancing the clinical skills of the 139th's medics.
Under the agreement, Air Force medics will spend drill weekends at Mosaic for clinical and trauma training, bridging the gap between civilian and military medical professions.
The partnership not only benefits training but also fosters knowledge-sharing between both institutions, creating a robust network that extends beyond St. Joseph's community.
This collaboration enhances community engagement, provides valuable real-world patient care experience, and supports the broader mission of the 139th Medical Group.
