CLARINDA, Iowa - The Lied Public Library in Clarinda is inviting you to embark on a journey of inspiration this evening.
Craig Saunders, 79, is a retired heart surgeon, but he's shared his epic adventures in life as an author. One recent epic adventure was cycling from Cairo, Egypt to Cape Town, South Africa in the 2023 Tour D’Afrique.
Saunders will be delivering that and other captivating tales evening this evening at 6:30 at the library. For those unable to attend in person, Zoom access is available.
The Library says in a press release that Craig's awe-inspiring tales of endurance and determination across the African continent promise an unforgettable experience, proving that age is no limit to life's most remarkable adventures.
