CORNING, Mo. - A semi-truck driver is in the hospital with serious injuries after an accident. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Joshua Asher of St. Joseph, 44, was driving the semi on I-29, one mile south of Corning.
At 11:57 a.m. Monday, a front passenger tire blew, causing the semi to travel off the road, down an embankment and into a field. Asher, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Mosaic in St. Joseph with serious injuries.
