Oct. 29, 2023St. Joseph, Mo. | By: Jeremy Werner
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The giving season is upon us as one area library looks to make the year a little warmer. The St. Joseph Public Library is launching its Winter Clothing Drive this Wednesday at the Downtown and East Hills libraries.
The libraries will be accepting donations of new or gently used winter clothing such as coats, sweaters, gloves, scarves, socks, hats, and blankets. The initiative aims to provide warmth to those in need.
Donated items will be stored at the library to create a community clothes closet, open to patrons starting on Wednesday, November 8. For more information or inquiries, contact Elizabeth Murray at 816-236-2136.
