FOREST CITY, Mo. - Missourians can experience the beauty of Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge this weekend by joining the Walk for the Wild Challenge.
The challenge is hosted by Friends of Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge and Public Lands Alliance. The 5K fall hike starts at 10 a.m. this Friday and celebrates the refuge's diverse ecosystems and its role in protecting wildlife.
The refuge is known for hosting spectacular gatherings of snow geese, ducks, and bald eagles during migration. The refuge also offers stunning vistas and a 10-mile auto tour route.
By participating in the 5K challenge, you contribute to the preservation of nature, promoting both mental and physical well-being.
