Chillicothe announces Grand Marshall for parade

CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - Chillicothe has announced the Grand Marshall for their 77th Annual Holiday Parade on Saturday, November 18, at 10 a.m. in the downtown area.

Pam Jarding, who is known for her extensive community service in the area, has been honored as the Grand Marshal. This year’s parade boasts the festive theme of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”

The parade will feature diverse entries, including bands, youth groups, and local businesses. Notable mascots like KC Wolf and Sluggerrr will also make appearances.

The event will be broadcast live on Facebook, ensuring a festive experience for both in-person attendees and virtual viewers. Judging will take place during the parade, with winners announced later in the day.
