SHENANDOAH, Iowa - A tragic rollover accident claimed the life of a 67-year-old man in Fremont County this week.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, law enforcement rushed to the scene on 370th Avenue just south of 150th Street, approximately 10 miles northwest of Shenandoah, after receiving reports of a wreck around 12:10 p.m. Tuesday.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2019 Semi, driven by James Herman Kinney of Council Bluffs, partially left the roadway, traversing the right shoulder for several hundred feet.
An overcorrection led to a destabilized trailer, resulting in the overturning of the semi. Kinney was taken to Shenandoah Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
