Hale woman injured in wreck near Cameron

A 64-year-old Hale woman is in the hospital with serious injuries after a wreck in Caldwell County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 2005 GMC Canyon slid on 36 Highway, two miles east of Cameron, at 6:49 p.m. Saturday.

The GMC would slide off the highway and overturn, seriously injuring Karen Wood, a passenger in the GMC. She was taken to North Kansas City Hospital. The driver was unharmed.
