MARYVILLE, Mo. - Maryville residents will notice an increase on their water and sewer bill next year.

That's because at Monday night's meeting, the city council approved a 3% increase to water and sewer rates which will begin next January, which means customers will see it on their bills in February.

City Manager Greg McDanel says this deals with the cost of a potential water treatment plant down the line.

McDanel adds that customers should see an increase of about $4-$5 on their bill.
