SHENANDOAH, Iowa - Renowned ragtime piano player Adam Swanson is making a homecoming in Iowa this weekend with a concert.
The four-time World Champion Ragtime Piano player is a Shenandoah High graduate who began performing nationwide at the age of 11, even gracing the stage at Carnegie Hall at 19.
Swanson expressed excitement about the upcoming concert at Shenandoah High School this Sunday at 2 p.m. The concert promises not just ragtime but also early jazz and show tunes.
Swanson's performance includes storytelling about the music's history, enriching the audience experience. Tickets are available at the door, with free entry for students accompanied by a paying adult.
