ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The St. Joseph Public Library is teaming up with local schools to host an award-winning author next week.
Mindy McGinnis will be giving two public presentations at Central High School next Monday.
The first at 10 a.m. delves into the inspiration behind her duology, "The Initial Insult" and "The Last Laugh," exploring modern themes of class, bullying, and small-town politics.
At 1 p.m., McGinnis will present "Blood, Brains & Lobotomies," delving into the research behind her Edgar Award-Winning Gothic historical thriller, "A Madness So Discreet."
The public is invited to attend and she will be signing books after each presentation. McGinnis is known for her diverse writing spanning various genres.
