ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - A St. Joseph teenager has been charged in the shooting of another St. Joseph teenager.
Sean McCush, 19, has been charged with first degree assault and armed criminal action in the shooting which happened inside the South Belt Walmart. Police responded to a shooting in the retail store around 7 p.m. last Friday.
The 17-year-old victim was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, and was initially taken to Mosaic Life Care before being transferred to another hospital for further treatment.
The suspect fled the scene, but was arrested later in the evening. No other details have been released and the investigation continues.
