Two seriously injured in two-vehicle wreck

PATTONSBURG, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a two-vehicle crash in Daviess County seriously injured two passengers.

The Patrol says a 2021 Chevy 2500 struck the back of a 2006 Saturn View on Interstate 35, 10 miles south of Pattonsburg, at 1:12 p.m. Monday.

Jason McDonald, 43, of Bethany, who was in the Saturn, was taken to Liberty Hospital in Liberty by Life Flight with serious injuries.

Brian Roberts, 44, of Bethany, who was in the Chevy, was taken to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City by Life Flight with serious injuries. Both men were not wearing a seatbelt. The drivers suffered no injuries.
