PLEASANT HILL, Mo. - Some in the KXCV/KRNW listening area are talking about the impact of a Super El Niño.
The National Center for Atmospheric Research predicted this winter could be impacted by the Super El Niño, with some hoping that means more moisture for our drought stricken area.
However, National Weather Service Meteorologist Chris Bowman believes it could also mean a dry and warmer winter.
Bowman adds that we'll have periods of above normal temperatures, punctuated by lower than normal temperatures throughout the winter.
The outlook for precipitation has an equal chance for being below or above normal.
