MDA seeking applicants for Agribusiness Academy

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Agriculture is inviting high school sophomores from 4-H clubs, FFA chapters, and farm families across the state to join the 2024 Missouri Agribusiness Academy.

30 students will be selected for this competitive program, offering an immersive exploration of agricultural careers.

Throughout the year, participants will engage in various activities, including volunteering at the Missouri State Fair and learning about unique opportunities.

The program will conclude with visits to industry leaders and agribusiness facilities in Jefferson City. The application deadline is February 1, with the first phase of the MAbA scheduled for June 3-7.
