JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The MU Extension Office and its Center for Applied Research and Engagement Systems have joined a multi-state resource network to support farm and food business in local and regional markets.
The Heartland Regional Food Business Center will help farm and food entrepreneurs build the businesses and supply chain connections needed to meet growing demand for local and regionally produced food.
Senior Project Manager Bill McKelvey said with this program the coordinate resources, offering technical assistance and more.
