MARYVILLE, Mo. - Farmers and ranchers can get a head start on their tax planning with free workshops offered by the University of Missouri Extension.
The workshops will be conducted by MU Extension agriculture business specialist Denice Ferguson, who will cover essential topics such as employee classifications, tax issues related to drought sales, and legislative updates.
The workshop will be online from 6:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Tuesday evening. She will have an in-person workshop at the Agricultural Learning Center north of Maryville Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The workshops provide valuable insights to help farmers optimize operations and maximize deductions, ensuring financial health.
