The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a man who fell asleep at the wheel is in serious condition after a wreck.
The Patrol says a 61-year-old Steven Green of Moberly was driving a 1997 Mercury Sable on 169 Highway, about a mile north of Gower. Around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday. The Patrol says Green fell asleep, the Sable crossed the center of the road and struck a towed unit. The Sable traveled off the road, struck a fence and creek.
Green, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, was taken to Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph, with serious injuries.
