Northwest Missouri State University has secured the 16th spot in the 2023 Open Doors Report, highlighting its growing appeal among international students pursuing master's degrees in the United States.
The report, published by the U.S. Department of State and the Institute of International Education, reflects data from the 2022-23 academic year. Northwest enrolled 1,278 international master's students during that period, including those in optional practical training.
The fall 2023 census revealed a 21.4% increase in the international student population, reaching a historic high of 1,038 students from 34 countries.
