ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - In a proactive move, the City of St. Joseph Health Department is temporarily halting services this Friday and next Thursday, to facilitate a comprehensive training retreat for all staff.
The affected services include WIC, clinic services, TB and immunization services, vital statistics, environmental services, and health education.
Animal Control and Rescue will provide emergency services this Friday, but resume full operations on the 14th and 15th.
On December 15th, Clinic and WIC will be closed, with other services operating from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The suspension aims to enable staff to engage in training, policy updates, and team-building activities. Following the renovation, services will resume on December 18th at 8 a.m. For more information, contact 816-271-4636.
