Trenton city council approves sidewalk ordinance

TRENTON, Mo. - At its latest meeting, the Trenton city council passed an ordinance approving a transportation enhancement funds program with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission for financial assistance for sidewalk construction.

According to City Administrator Ron Urton these funds will be used to build new sidewalks by schools and throughout the city.

The city council also touched on amending the code for handicap parking spaces as well as adding a proposition to authorize a city wide sales tax on the next ballot.
