Bearcat All-American named Maryville Volleyball Coach

Northwest Missouri State volleyball All-American Alyssa Rezac is shifting from player to coach.

Maryville High School announced on Twitter this morning that Rezac will take over as the Spoofhounds head volleyball coach.

Rezac, a Wahoo, Nebraska native, was the 2022 MIAA Player of the Year, a two-time AVCA All-American, and finished her college career ranked seventh in Northwest history with 2,612 assists. The setter was also instrumental in Northwest's first MIAA regular season title last fall and back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances in 2021 and 2022.

She steps into a Maryville volleyball program that went 19-16-2 and reached the district championship match last season.
