JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Agriculture is reminding producers that the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service is set to unveil the 2022 Census of Agriculture data next month.
Data will be available at nass.usda.gov on Tuesday, February 13.
With a preliminary national return rate of 61%, Missouri reports a rate of just a little under that, showcasing active participation from over 27,000 farmers and ranchers who completed the census online, contributing to cost savings.
The census is conducted every five years and aims to capture insights into the agriculture sector. For assistance with the survey, or for more information, contact the NASS Heartland Regional Field Office at (800)-551-1014.
