ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art is rescheduling it's 50th annual Membership Exhibition. Due to winter weather predictions this weekend, the exhibition was originally supposed to open this weekend.
It will now run from January 19 to April 14. The exhibition exclusively features artworks by current museum members, with participating artists spanning ages from 9 to 90.
Each member can submit two original pieces across ten categories, including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, ceramics, and more.
An opening reception will be held next Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with an awards ceremony at 6 p.m., will unveil category winners and Best in Show.
Concurrently, the museum will showcase "Stillness and Life in Colored Pencil" by Wanda Taylor in the Campbell Gallery through February 18.
