CONCEPTION, Mo. - Conception Abbey is introducing a unique spiritual experience with its "Encountering Christ" Benedictine Retreats.

Rooted in the wisdom of the Benedictine tradition, these retreats aim to address the spiritual hunger of today's Catholics. Father Paul Sheller will follow a structured format inspired by St. Benedict's Holy Rule.

Participants can expect conferences, engagement in the Divine Office and Mass, personal prayer, Adoration, and a technology "fast" in a serene environment.

With both men's and women's retreats scheduled, each limited to 30 participants, spots are filling up quickly. There will be retreats in January, February, March, April, May and June.

More details and registration information are available on the conceptionabbey.org.
