MARYVILLE, Mo. - With the new legislative session underway in Jefferson City, citizens from Northwest Missouri, spanning nineteen counties and representing various sectors like business, education, healthcare, and government, will converge next week to engage legislators and discuss critical regional issues.

Expected to draw over 250 attendees, the two-day event aims to raise awareness of Northwest Missouri's concerns. It kicks off on Tuesday, February 6 with a priorities panel addressing key regional issues.

Later, a Northwest Missouri Reception will feature legislative updates and present the inaugural Northwest Missouri Citizen of the Year award.

Attendees will then meet legislators and department dignitaries to showcase the region's strengths and discuss its needs.

On February 7, the GNW Regional Breakfast will host Missouri Supreme Court Judge Zel Fischer as the guest speaker.
