DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is inviting the public to a series of town hall-style meetings, including one in the KXCV/KRNW listening area, to discuss the recently concluded hunting and trapping seasons and potential changes to rules and regulations.

The meeting in our listening area is scheduled for Wednesday, February 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Southern Prairie Fitness Center in Creston.

The DNR emphasizes the opportunity to hear staff updates, pose questions, and provide direct feedback. The meetings, set to address rule changes and gather public input, are open to all.

The sessions will cover season reviews, potential rule modifications, and various related topics.

Public comments collected during these meetings will be considered alongside other feedback before proposing any changes to hunting rules and regulations.
