DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is inviting the public to participate in a series of town hall-style meetings across the state.
These meetings aim to provide updates on recent hunting and trapping seasons, discuss potential changes to hunting and trapping rules and regulations, and address any other topics of interest to attendees.
The only meeting in the KXCV/KRNW listening area will be in Creston, at the South Prairie Family Fitness Center, on Wednesday, February 21, at 6:30 p.m.
Officials say these gatherings offer an opportunity for people to engage directly with DNR staff, ask questions, and share feedback.
Part of the agenda includes discussions on potential rule changes, with ample time allocated for collecting public input.
The meetings are open to everyone, and comments received will be considered alongside other feedback before proposing any changes to hunting rules and regulations. For more information, call 515-725-8200.
