Maryville city council approves alleyway work

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Maryville city council took the first steps towards a pedestrian walkway in the downtown area.

At Monday night's meeting, the council approved a contract with Confluence, which will do landscape, architecture and civil engineering for the alleyway.

The cost will be around $137,000. After engineering and design, there will be public meetings and discussions with business owners impacted by the alleyway.
