Scholarships being offered by corn organizations

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Corn Growers Association and Missouri Corn Merchandising Council are continuing their longstanding tradition of awarding seven deserving students $1,000 scholarships this year.

Applications are now available for high school seniors and college juniors pursuing a degree in agronomy or related area of agriculture.

Students must submit an application, official transcript, and at least one letter of recommendation to the Missouri Corn office by February 16.

Associate Director of Communications for Missouri Corn Hilary Black says that this scholarship is very important to them.
