BETHANY, Mo. - It was a busy January meeting for the South Harrison R-2 Board of Education. This included testing for traces of lead in their water supply.
Superintendent Dennis Eastin says the district partnered with a company to test their water and is now awaiting results.
Those results should be posted next week. The Board discussed the purchase of a new work truck for maintenance workers to travel between buildings. It will also be used to deliver mail.
The Board also discussed the Missouri School Climate and Culture Survey, a comprehensive survey that analyzes factors such as engagement, safety, and the learning environment of students.
Results will be posted on the district website next week.
