CAMERON, Mo. - Young at Heart Resources is bringing healthy aging classes online, so seniors can learn from home this winter.
These classes allow seniors to learn safe ways to exercise in porgrams designed to reduce chronic diseases and prevent falls, while meeting new people and building friendships.
Healthy Aging Coordinator for Young at Heart Resources John Lagoutaris says the Arthritis Foundation excesses program is evidence based and well received all over the country.
Arthritis classes will be held January 17 through March 27 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2-3 p.m. via Zoom.
Young at Heart Resources is also offering "Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less" a 15-week weight management program offered once a week online with enrollment on-going with new sessions starting each month.
