ATV wreck seriously injures Lathrop man

TURNEY, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says an elderly man is in serious condition after an ATV wreck in Clinton County.

The Patrol says 70-year-old David Blackman of Lathrop was riding an ATV in a field off of Northeast Gall Road, about three miles southeast of Turney.

Authorities say while attempting to turn, Blackman lost control and the ATV overturned, ejecting Blackman. Blackman was taken to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City by Life-Flight with serious injuries.
