RED OAK, Iowa - A 21-year-old Red Oak man has been arrested following a high speed chase this past weekend.

The Page County Sheriff's Office says deputies were notified around 1:45 a.m. Sunday that Maryville Police and the Nodaway County Sheriff's Office were pursuing a vehicle into Page County.

Deputies joined the pursuit near U.S. Highway 71 and 300th Street. Deputies lost the vehicle as the chase continued into the souther portions of the county.

However, Deputies would receieve a tip that the vehicle and the two suspects in the vehicle were in the town of Coin.

After an investigation into the tip, Drake Leslie Brown was arrested and charged with aggravated eluding, interference with official acts, reckless driving and four scheduled motor vehicle violation citations.

No word on what happened with the second suspect. Brown is currently being held in the Page County Jail on a $2,000 cash only bond.
