The Behavioral Sciences Association at Northwest Missouri State University is calling for art submissions for its annual event, "I Will Listen."
The event is dedicated to raising awareness about mental illnesses and promoting mental health. The deadline for submissions is the end of today, with various art forms accepted, including drawings, paintings, music, poetry, and dance.
The event is scheduled for Thursday March 28th from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. It will feature an art exhibit, a paint-and-sip activity, speakers, and exercise rooms with yoga and circuit training sessions. Prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners in each category.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
