Iowa DNR looking for seasonal and recreational workers

DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is gearing up for the summer 2024 season and is now accepting applications for recreational aides and seasonal patrol officers across the state park system.

These positions offer a variety of responsibilities, including assisting park staff, patrolling the park, leading programs, registering campers, and maintaining park facilities.

Duties may range from mowing and trimming to trail work and facility repairs. Ideal candidates should possess skills in general maintenance, the ability to work well within a team or independently, and strong customer service skills.
